The Fundación Consejo España – EE. UU., which was established in 1997, endeavors to strengthen the ties between our two countries as partners, friends, and historical allies. It also promotes joint initiatives to enhance our bilateral relationship in all areas, including economic, business, scientific, educational, and cultural sectors.
Since 1995, we have been promoting dialogue between Spanish and U.S. civil society on key issues for our bilateral relationship.
We showcase contemporary Spain to young U.S. professionals, Hispanic leaders and senior officials of the U.S. Congress through annual public diplomacy visitor programs.

Since its creation in 1997, the Fundación has become the leading institution for public diplomacy between Spain and the United States.
