Students from the Master’s Degree in Global and International Studies at the University of Salamanca visited the headquarters of the Fundación Consejo España – EE. UU. in a meeting aimed at learning first-hand about the work carried out by the institution. They were welcomed by the Secretary General and the Fundación’s team, who explained the organization’s mission and its role in strengthening ties between Spain and the United States.
During the visit, the wide range of programs developed by the Fundación was presented, along with their results and impact. The students learned about flagship initiatives such as the annual Forums, which bring together political, business, and academic leaders from both countries; the visitor programs, which foster professional and cultural exchange; and the exhibitions, which showcase Spanish history and culture to U.S. audiences.

The Secretary General highlighted how these initiatives contribute to promoting dialogue, cooperation, and mutual understanding between Spain and the United States, and shared concrete examples of recent projects that have had an impact in both countries. Likewise, the Fundación’s team explained how the programs are planned and implemented.
The meeting also included a space for dialogue and questions, during which the students shared their international perspectives, discussed cultural diplomacy, and expressed their interest in the Fundación’s work. The visit allowed the students to gain practical insight into how our institution strategically and effectively strengthens bilateral relations.
Through initiatives like these, the Fundación Consejo España – EE. UU. reaffirms its commitment to education, professional exchange, and the promotion of strong relations between both countries, bringing future generations of professionals closer to the challenges and opportunities of international cooperation.
