U.S. Young Leaders
We showcase contemporary Spain to young U.S. professionals through this annual public diplomacy program.
Madrid and Seville, from April 7th to 12th, 2024.
The U.S. Young Leaders Program sponsored jointly by the Fundación Consejo España – EE.UU. and the United States -Spain Council, annually hosts a group of ten up-and-coming young professionally diverse Americans, to positively update the image they hold of Spain and allow them to go out and spread it throughout their areas of influence on their return to the United States. The one-week program of high- level meetings and visits in Madrid and another Spanish city offers participants a panoramic view of our country’s sociopolitical, business, cultural and institutional realities.
The main objective of this program is to identify and show participants the most positive and relevant areas in which Spain stands out as an international leader (infrastructure, finance, renewable energies, etc.), is a pioneer (development and implementation of social policies) or plays a strategic role (relations with the European Union and Latin America). The aim is also to facilitate personal and professional contacts that will ultimately lead to opportunities for collaboration between the two countries.
